Started playing guitar at age 11. After years of lessons with local teachers, he studied at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey, UK, where he graduated with a degree in 2006. He has been a guitar teacher and session guitarist ever since. He has two other bands outside of Cradle of Filth, rock/metal bands Emperor Chung and NG26.
