Resident evil 6 is obviously similar but worse, and I've personally had massive amounts of fun with Revelations 2's co-op survival move over xbox live with a friend. Any of the gears of war games also have co-op over xbox live and share a vaugely sinilar feel to Resident Evil.
I went into my settings and it shows I'm in full-screen mode. The picture doesn't seem to cover my full screen on top or bottom for both players. It looks like we only have about a 30 inch between both of us. The sides of the screen are blacked out on the right and left about 10 inches and makes it look like wide screen.
